about

The MadDucLit project was initiated in 2005 to promote and advertise collecting of old lithuanian and polish coins which circulated in XIV-XVIII cent. in the Grand Dutchy of Lithuania and Poland. This resulted in growing numbers of coin collectors in this field, new numismatic web-sites and books not only in Polish, but in Lithuanian, English, Russian and Belarusian languages as well.
Now we shall aim at further study of lithuanian and polish history in close cooperation with friendly web-sites and all colleagues and friends interested in our common history reflected in old coins, decorations, signets, militaria and old maps. We shall also promote other collecting areas to help in preserving historic artifacts of our common history in museums and private collections.
We offer to all collectors special literature in different fields as well as our help in finding missing objects for their collections in numismatics, phaleristics, old banknotes, old city views' postcards and historical maps.
